If you’re looking for a firm that will focus on your individual needs, and always treat you like a client who matters, look no further. Our firm is large enough to offer a full range of professional services, but small enough to give you the individual attention that you deserve.
We will thoroughly and conscientiously study your personal situation, and tailor our advice to your specific needs.
Income Taxes Services
When you sit in front of my desk, you get my full attention because I value your time. My approach to income taxes is to treat every case as if it were my own; this means that I will review all documentation and ask the necessary questions to ensure your returns are prepared accurately. I like my clients to understand what is included in their returns so that they have some knowledge of what was done so that when they sign their returns they can do so comfortably.
I will make sure you get every deduction you are legally entitled to. I do not believe in assisting my clients in receiving larger refunds by overstating deductions that I know were not incurred by them because I think this is very unprofessional and because I don’t like my clients getting audited. Not only do they end up having to return the money they were not entitled to in the first place, they also pay penalties and interest.
All tax returns are electronically filed when possible.
At our office your employee checks are prepared taking into account all federal and state laws. We process all your tax deposits and all the required forms timely.
I am knowledgeable of the different payroll forms that apply according to the different business entities and will also keep track of the regulations related to your particular business. Because a knowledgeable person is reviewing your payroll data we are able to catch mistakes that other payroll services may not.
All the business transactions get recorded according to your type of business through a chart of accounts. These transactions include purchases, sales, receipts, credit card statements, or ATM payments made by your company.
All transactions are reviewed in three steps by three different employees, so you can be assured that we will process your transactions accurately.
Once all of your information is processed I am able to prepare the income statement and balance sheet.
I enjoy guiding clients into a successful business venture by making sure that all the legal steps are covered and that all of the financial data is reviewed. I provide clients with the information and addresses they need in order to obtain all the licenses required for their particular business.
In my 23 years of operating, any business that has followed my advice has not failed.
Audit representation is based on your level of cooperation because when you are audited you have the burden of proof; this means that all the deductions claimed have to be substantiated (with receipts). My work is dependent on your cooperation because if you do not have anything to provide to me I am very limited as to what I can do.
I also represent people that had their taxes prepared improperly elsewhere. I ask for a copy of the taxes and whatever additional paperwork is available so that I may re-process them to find where the errors lay.
Before I meet with the IRS auditor I have prepared the case and I know with a high probability how much you are going to pay or get back. Generally they accept my changes as proposed
I represent clients before all government entities such as: Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), Employment Development Department (EDD), Board of Equalization (BOE), or City audits.
Sales Tax Reports
Once we have your transactions entered into our general ledger I am able to prepare reports to calculate how much sales tax you owe and to whom. I am always up to date with legal changes made to sales taxes to make sure that you are compliant.
Taxes prepared for foreclosures, short sales and cancelled debt
I have taken many classes in this area of taxation and unfortunately with the real estate market the way it has been I have acquired a breadth of experience.
A foreclosure or repossession is considered a sales or exchange which means you may have a gain or a loss. The lender files Form 1099 with the IRS with the reporting information, which means if your taxes are not done properly you could face penalties.
